Checking the hash of the wallet file

Hi,

Where can I find the hash of the wallet file to check if it is genuine? Don’t seem to find it on Github. Thanks.

Do you mean the desktop one? We distribute the desktop app via the official App Store and Windows Store and It can provide a certain level of validity. however, we will provide a list of checksum to help make sure for those who need it

Hi, yes I mean the desktop one. I really want to start using the wallet. It seems like you guys are doing a wonderful job, but this is part of my routine before installing anything. Do you know when the list will be available and when?

Not sure which desktop platform you are on, but we have the apps for OSX and Windows 10 in their app stores:

OSX

Windows

However, if you prefer direct download, here are the checksums:

I’ve just tried to verify the checksum of the file “O3-Setup-OSX.dmg” which i just downloaded from your site (direct download, no appstore; V 0.1.5) and always get a different hash. have also tried it with an older download I got…same problem.

So, what kind of checksum is that? SHA256?
