Sorry just to be clear, do you have the private key or the encrypted key? If you only have the encrypted key, you can not get back in to your wallet without the password. If you do have the private key then you will not need a password to log back in. If you are 100% sure that you have the private key you can remove and add your wallet again and then it will ask you to set up a new password.
If you only have your encrypted key, then I would suggest not to remove the wallet and just keep trying with different passwords.
That doesnt work. The wallet keeps on asking for the password. I have this same issue
Is your meaning that after removing the wallet you are still being asked for the password?
