I’ve heard that NEO is not decentralized? Doesn’t this defeat the purpose of a cryptocurrency? What are the plans to further decentralize the NEO blockchain.
It’s not.Currently there are a very limited amount of consensus nodes, there are plans to allow more, on the ‘test net’ you can set one up and play around with it. It’s quite a commitment to make a real one though, and currently I believe the existing consensus nodes have to vote on whether to allow a new one to join the network.
